VP, CBD Division

At High 12 Brands our goal is to build recognizable and successful global cannabis brands. We are creative, we are collaborative, and we are hyper-focused on delivering products that are beloved by cannabis consumers.

We are hiring a VP, CBD Division to strategically develop and execute a business plan in the newly emerging CBD industry. CBD is rapidly expanding and is promising consumer market that is expected to grow to a $22billion dollar industry by 2022 (The Brightfield Group).

We need a self-starter, someone that can embrace the ambiguity of an emerging industry and thrive. You will own the P&L for the CBD division, which includes responsibility for operations, business development, corporate development, brand management and corporate culture. You will build out your team and grow into different global markets. You have experience launching brands and businesses across a variety of product categories (health & skincare, food and beverage, sports categories, etc.)

Develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of every aspect of the CBD industry to relentlessly pursue new opportunities and close those already in the pipeline, taking responsibility for getting the deal done, and pushing the project to implementation - a complete end-to-end finisher.

In this job you will...

  • Lead the development and execution of the CBD vision and strategy

  • Establish brand growth strategies

  • Manage the CBD division P&L

  • Develop the innovation pipeline

  • Negotiate competitive contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers

  • Build strategic alliances

  • Conduct consultative sales presentations and meetings

  • Synthesize market feedback and recommendations for brands

  • Create strategic and actionable marketing plans

  • Strengthen and grow the portfolio of brands

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance

  • Identify, assess and develop strategies for emerging market and industry trends

  • Leverage the research to influence strategic business decisions, partnership development strategies and the creation of new business opportunities

  • Hire and lead a team of high performing talent

We are looking for someone with...

  • 5+ years of strategic operating experience

  • Experience scaling an organization and managing people

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a get-it-done attitude

  • Experience working as part of a remote team

  • Superior time management skills, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

  • High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and diplomacy

  • Resourcefulness and flexibility

  • Professional and responsive, and the ability to move within a fast paced environment
