Project Manager, Commercial Operations

We are hiring a Project Manager, Commercial Operations to be the primary point-person on our team to plan and manage the execution of all commercial activities and go-to-market launch strategies for High12. You will be tasked with defining project requirements and scope, acquiring project resources, and supervising the efforts of the project team to drive the sales & marketing activities to completion. You will require an understanding of sales & marketing activities and driving them to close, thoughtful project planning, effective quality control, strong organizational and time management skills, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and upward reporting to senior management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project’s lifecycle.
In this job you will...
Define the project goals, timelines, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success.
Plan all project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and micro-deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or PM methods.
Organize project teams into suitable workgroups and guide the teams throughout their efforts to produce deliverables according to specification.
Establish and deliver mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders via a formal communications plan.
Conduct stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input, and expectations; incorporate these into project plans.
Produce regular reports (status, escalations, etc.) on the progress of projects; deliver these reports during regular stakeholder meetings.
Track all project costs to ensure completion within budget; procure extra budget funding where necessary.
Conduct project post mortems in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.
We are looking for someone with...
University degree in business related field
Direct work experience in project management in a sales & marketing environment.
PMP certification preferred.
Highly organized, and able to institute and manage processes to improve information gathering and sharing within an organization.
Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
Familiarity with project management software, tools, methodology.
Intuitive grasp of organizational structure in order to manage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary resource allocation.
Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management.
Strong knowledge of financial management, technology management, and internal controls.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
